Decent Sonic Game coming 2010!

Apparently Sega listens, as Sonic goes back to his roots in the game tentatively named "Project Needlemouse" (The same name of the original Sonic 1 while it was in production), only now in HD.
While the shape of the silhouette on the logo of the lack of sonic being in the name makes me speculative, we'll just have to see what happens.

oh I heard of this, I hope they work hard on this game and that it turns out good.

The WiiHD is a lie, it doesn't exist. Where did you hear about it, anyway?
Unless you mean my Wii with a hard drive, in which case, not much.
And Sonic 2D HD is for 360 and PS3 I believe.
The thing about an HD Wii is it looks dreadful- I've seen it through a Wii emulator outputting 1080p and the low number of polygons, which is acceptable for 480p, just looks terrible in a higher resolution.

I doubt there will even be one for like 7 years honestly, though. Since the Wii is mostly a family console, graphical updates don't matter.

In theory, they were. But they ruined them by only keeping the good devKit to use them for themselves- everyone else (ie. Sega) got crappy, unresponsive devkits. And most games just became waggle-fest anyway.

Yeah. I do agree that the Infrared/gyro in the Wiimote was perfect for First Person Shooters- I even hooked it up to my computer often, just so I could play FPSes.

Wii fps ftw

Wii FPS was good, but the wii itself wasn't as good in terms of graphics, online speed... waht would be awesome is if someone programmed a PS3 game with Wiimote Support. You can connect them to the PS3 via bluetooth but you can't do anything once you're there.

Yeah, their wand of whatever it is looks good- and actual 1:1 movement is something I've wanted since Wii. Unfortunately it can only be used in the camera radius, but since it can track depth it should work fine.

Well technically they can't do anything about the camera thing, but it isn't too much of a problem anyway.

Yeah just means i gotta spend $40 extra or maybe $30 if it becomes a bundle ^_^
