Silver ftw! I got it at age 7, got all 16 badges and about 230 of the available 251 Pokemon, including Mew. It rocked.

Yeah i am gonna get them on my M3 DSReal i am gonna get the Japenese on and patch the rom and play it in english xD

I am probably gonna do the same on my R4, if the English patch is decent. Otherwise I will just wait for the official ones.

Yes I would beat the pokémon league sooooo many times it was pathetic i had tons of lvl 100's and the only pokemon i didn't have was like.. steelix and slow king cuz my aunt wouldn't trade me

Actually, I did have to use YSMenu instead of R4Menu to load some things... I guess you win, unless you don't have cheat support.

Back on topic, it loks like someone is translating Soul Silver, and they are already up to CherryGrove in one day. It isn't too hard because the stuff that isn't new is already translated, so they just use copypasta from Gold/Silver. Expect this in English before the US version comes out

So what exactly is new about the games compared to the GBA games...?

You mean GBC? Gold and Silver were for the Gameboy Color...
Compared to the GBA games, it has day/night, weekly events, pokemon following, the GTS, a Battle Frontier, etc
Also it has 16 badges and you can even go to the Mewtwo Cave from Pokemon Red.

Yeah, but these do too and some new ones
And a battle frontier, Kanto is bigger than in GSC, it can have all 493 pokemon in it (for better or worse), and it has Wifi Battles and Trades.
